Damian Priest has been on the main roster for several months now and has done quite well. For the first few months, he was linked with Bad Bunny, which Priest says helped him with the pressure of the call-up.
Damien Priest recently spoke with the Dallas News where he opened up about Bad Bunny. In short, he appreciated having a friend to hang out with leading into WrestleMania. Here is the quote:
“He actually helped me because he took a lot of pressure off my shoulders just because I had like a buddy to hang out with in the process leading up to WrestleMania when I was also new to Monday Night Raw.
It’s like the new kid at school. You don’t know how people are going to react to you, if they’re going to like you, you know. But at least I had somebody there that made me relax because we would just laugh and goof around, and I think I did that for him, as well.”
Damien Priest and Bad Bunny teamed up to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. Priest has since continued his rivalry with Miz and Morrison.
