Last week on AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega had an interview at ringside with Tony Schiavone, where a match between the top two contenders was made for the following week, with the winner facing Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing.
In that match, Kenny Omega laid out PAC with the title, resulting in neither PAC or Orange Cassidy getting to their feet by the count of 10, with the match resulting in a tie.
Kenny Omega and Don Callis were then cut off by Tony Schiavone, who said that Tony Khan had informed him that at Double or Nothing, Kenny Omega will defend against both PAC and Orange Cassidy in a Triple Threat match.
