AEW star Ethan Page has revealed who he spoke to about joining AEW.
Speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Page revealed that it was AEW Tag Team Champion Matt Jackson who spoke to Page about coming to AEW. Page revealed:
“Oh man. So, there was interest originally kind of before the company even opened. People didn’t know that I was under contract with IMPACT. They thought it was like a ‘per-day’ thing and I kind of had to give them the, ‘Oh sorry. I’m locked up for a little while’. And that was Cody that originally reached out to me. But then, as time went by my contract was coming to an end with my previous employer and it was actually Matt Jackson that was the one that kind of got things moving and locked me in.”
Ethan Page’s previously scheduled Coffin match with Darby Allin was cancelled on last week’s (June 30) episode of Dynamite, with the match seemingly being moved to Fyter Fest.
