It has been reported that a AEW Dark regular is done with the promotion, recently signing with Major League Wrestling.
At MLW Battle Riot on July 10, Danny Limelight debuted as part of the new LAX. According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Limelight is one of the latest stars to sign with MLW.
Limelight is best known for his appearances on AEW Dark and Dark Elevation. During his time with the promotion, Limelight has shared the ring with Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston and Kenny Omega. His last match for the promotion was against Ethan Page in June.
Limelight was reportedly on a tiered contract with AEW. The report also noted that the door will be open for a future return. His MLW deal reportedly allows him to appear for NJPW, as Limelight previously featured on NJPW Strong.
A separate report from Fightful Select has stated that Julius Smokes and Slice Boogie have also signed with MLW.
