After Fyter Fest Night Two went off the air, AEW President Tony Khan compared the Dark: Elevation brand to the WWE Performance Center.
After last night’s (July 21) show concluded, Tony Khan thanked fans for sticking around for AEW Dark: Elevation tapings. Noting that AEW doesn’t have the same developmental system as WWE, Khan said:
“Ladies and gentlemen, we don’t have a Performance Center in AEW. This is our Performance Center. We have the best young wrestlers in the world and this is where we showcase them.”

Current AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker recently opened up about having to adapt to live television, calling AEW Dynamite her Performance Center.
Eddie Kingston received a lot of criticism from fans for mentioning WWE in a post-Dynamite promo last month. Kingston argued that mentioning the competition makes wrestling more interesting.
On last night’s Fyter Fest Night Two show, Lance Archer defeated Jon Moxley to become IWGP US Champion. Archer’s victory ended Moxley’s 564 day reign with the NJPW gold.
It has recently been reported that Daniel Bryan has signed with AEW. More information has emerged surrounding the signing, detailing the reason why Bryan decided to join AEW.
