A new report has clarified rumors regarding the reason Bray Wyatt was absent from TV prior to his shocking WWE release on July 31.
After Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania 37 match with Randy Orton, Wyatt featured in a Firefly Fun House segment on the April 12 episode of Raw. This would end up being his last on-screen WWE appearance, not returning to TV before his recent WWE departure.
During Wyatt’s absence, conflicting rumours emerged regarding the reason he was off TV. According to Fightful, Wyatt’s absence wasn’t due to mental health issues, as some rumours had claimed. Sources specifically called them “falsely reported mental health issues”.
The report noted that Wyatt was working on new creative elements for his character off-screen, which we were originally set to see on last night’s August 9 episode of Raw, which was his planned return date.
Wyatt actually already had family arrangements scheduled for May and June. He is currently 100% healthy and ready to wrestle.
Following his WWE departure, Wyatt hinted that he foreshadowed his exit in his April 12 Firefly Fun House segment. More recently, the former Universal Champion teased future plans with an intriguing social media post.
