Tay Conti Vs. Penelope Ford Added To AEW Dynamite

AEW has taken to social media to announce that Tay Conti will take on Penelope Ford on this week’s episode of Dynamite.

This comes after Ford distracted Conti on Rampage which helped the Bunny pick up a win over the Brazilian.

Bunny had previously asked Conti to help her out in this Sunday’s Casino Battle Royale, which Conti refused, thus setting up the Rampage match.

While there hasn’t necessarily been anything concrete to suggest this could be the case, the situation would make sense as a way for Anna Jay to return to even the odds if she’s recovered from surgery, especially since the battle royals tend to have a few surprises.

The card for Wednesday’s Dynamite is now:

• Tay Conti vs. Penelope Ford
• Brian Cage vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
• FTR vs. Santana & Ortiz
• Young Bucks & Good Brothers vs. Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus & Lucha Brothers
• Jim Ross in-ring interview with Chris Jericho
• Tony Schiavone sit-down interview with MJF
• Orange Cassidy vs. Jack Evans

It’s the final Dynamite before All Out, but there will of course be Rampage on Friday too. The only match announced for Rampage as of now is Darby Allin vs Daniel Garcia, two days before Allin’s huge match against CM Punk.
