Dave Meltzer has revealed his star ratings for AEW All Out, including the Young Bucks vs Lucha Brothers cage match.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer gave the steel cage tag match 5.75 stars and referred to it as being at least in the conversation to possibly be the best cage match ever.
This makes the match the second-highest Meltzer rated match so far this year, with the only one ahead of it being Will Ospreay vs Shingo Takagi from NJPW Wrestling Dontaku, which got 6 stars.
Meltzer’s full ratings for All Out were as follows:
- Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus & Orange Cassidy & Chuck Taylor & Wheeler Yuta beat Matt Hardy & Private Party & Jack Evans & Angelico in 9:25 – 3.75
- Miro pinned Eddie Kingston to retain the TNT title in 13:21 – 4
- Jon Moxley pinned Satoshi Kojima in 11:51 – 4
- Britt Baker beat Kris Statlander to retain the women’s title in 11:35 – 4
- Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix beat Young Bucks in 22:02 to win the AEW tag titles in a cage match – 5.75
- Ruby Soho won the Casino Battle Royale in 21:54 – 3.25
- Chris Jericho beat MJF in 19:45 in a match where Jericho would have to leave AEW if he lost – 3.75
- C.M. Punk pinned Darby Allin in 16:39 – 3.75
- Paul Wight pinned QT Marshall in 3:09 – 1
- Kenny Omega retained the AEW title over Christian Cage in 21:19 – 4.25
