The finish to last Sunday’s (September 26) WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view was met with a lot of criticism from fans online.
The finish saw ‘Demon’ Finn Balor ascend to the top rope after making a comeback. Balor went to hit his Coup De Grace on Roman Reigns, before the top rope snapped underneath him, allowing Reigns to Spear and pin the Demon.
Fan video has now emerged, showcasing exactly how WWE managed to pull off the spot. WWE positioned a cameraman at the opposite turnbuckle, and used a knife to cut the rope at the exact moment.
