The viewership figures for the October 6 edition of AEW Dynamite, featuring the Casino Ladder Match, have been revealed.
As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Wednesday’s episode drew an average of 1.053 million viewers. This is down from the 1.273 million viewers who tuned in on September 29, and is the lowest Dynamite viewership since September 1.
In the 18-49 demographic, the show received a 0.37 rating, equal to 480,000 viewers. This is also down from the 0.45 rating (588,000 viewers) scored by last week’s show.
This edition of Dynamite celebrated the second anniversary of AEW. Hangman Page made his return as the ‘Joker’ entrant of the Casino Ladder Match, before winning the contest, earning a future shot at the AEW World Championship.
Also on the show, Bobby Fish unsuccessfully challenged for Sammy Guevara’s TNT Championship. It was later announced that Fish has officially signed with AEW.
Tony Khan also unveiled a secondary women’s title, the AEW TBS Championship. Andrew Zarian of The Mat Men podcast had previously reported that there were plans to introduce this belt.
