Statistics point to there having been a lack of interest in this past Sunday’s November 21 WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.
It isn’t all that surprising considering WWE barely promoted the show on TV until the week leading up to it, and none of the matches had any stakes.
As reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the show did 200,000 Google searches, which is what you would usually expect for typical ‘b-show’, not one a supposed major show like Survivor Series.
It certainly wasn’t treated as a major show this time around, but on name value alone, the 200,000 searches is less than expected.
Just for a little bit of a comparison, AEW All Out on September 5 did 500,000 Google searches.
