Raw Last Week Run By ‘Most Skeleton Of Crews’

With staff-shortages wreaking havoc all over America, it seems WWE is no exception as it’s being reported that last week’s Raw taping saw many from the company absent.

While it has been previously reported that Vince McMahon and other top executives were not present at last week’s (December 27) Raw, it seems the absences were even more profound than originally thought.

While notable on-screen talent advertised in advance to appear on the show such as Big E, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair and Omos were not in attendance, a report from Fightful Select also notes that Bobby Roode, Rhea Ripley, Queen Zelina, Finn Balor and Austin Theory were not present either.

Backstage didn’t prove much more populated with producers seeing their workforce split between Orlando, Florida where WWE held a SmackDown house show and Raw in Detroit, Michigan. Absent from the list of names of those who produced Raw were Adam Pearce, Kenny Dykstra, Jamie Noble, Shawn Daivari, Pat Buck, Michael Hayes, and TJ Wilson.

Raw was reportedly run by John Laurinaitis and Ed Koskey.

According to those who were in attendance, this group was “the most skeleton of crews” since WWE resumed television tapings with fans and even perhaps less staff than shows run from the WWE Performance Center in 2020.
