Pat McAfee has quickly become WWE’s most popular commentator, but it seems like even he is not immune to being yelled at like others before him.
On the latest Pat McAfee Show, former Universal Champion Seth Rollins was his special guest. McAfee referred to Rollins as a “Future Hall of Famer”.
The SmackDown commentator revealed this to be a reason he is often yelled at, saying:
Ladies and gentlemen, WWE Future Hall of Famer….by the way, I actually get yelled at every time I say, ‘Future Hall of Famer’ for this person. They’re like….it’s not always Vince (McMahon), it’s somebody that drops in, ‘we don’t know if that’s true or not.’ It’s an amazing time. I try to sneak that in at least once a show to see how many Hall of Famers I can put in there.”
Seth Rollins responded with a joke that McAfee should refer to Shanky as a “future hall of famer” and then admitted he has to stop hating on Shanky.
With the accolades that Rollins has, it is not shocking to think that he will be a future inductee when his career comes to an end.
