Another former WWE star has signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), and is set to make an ‘imminent’ debut in the promotion.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that Sw3rve, formerly Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott in WWE/NXT, has signed with All Elite Wrestling.
It was reported last week that the deal between the two was as good as done, and he’d be coming into the company after his non-compete clause expired.
AEW has not gone out of their way to keep it a secret, as Swerve was at the AEW concert on Saturday Night in Orlando, and a song that repeatedly mentioned him played.
Beyond that, Fightful notes that the plan, as of Saturday, was to debut Sw3rve “imminently,” with the idea being for him to debut at AEW Revolution. However, despite the heavy speculation, it was not known what capacity the debut was planned.
