FTR Pivoting Towards Face Turn As The Pinnacle Dissension Continues

FTR continued to tease a face turn as they remain trepidacious members of Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s faction, the Pinnacle on tonight’s (March 30) episode of AEW Dynamite.

In a backstage segment, FTR made it clear to MJF that they were not choosing sides between he and Wardlow after, with a delightful bit of set design, many signs were seen posted on the hard cam side of the arena instructing security that Wardlow was to be ejected from the premises if spotted.

MJF countered that FTR are not just friends to him, they are family.

During FTR’s match with the Gunn Club, Wardlow appeared in the arena first backstage where he battled security, power bombing one onto a table, and continuing to lay waste to everyone in his path until he was finally stopped shortly before reaching MJF who was on commentary.

After the match, FTR was clearly unhappy with MJF but cautiously celebrated with him after their pinfall victory, allowing him to raise their hands before leaving the ring.
