John Cena has shared Cody Rhodes’ recent tweet on his Instagram page, following Rhodes’ WWE return on WrestleMania 38 Saturday.
Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins on last night’s show, officially bringing the ‘American Nightmare’ to WWE. This was Rhodes’ first WWE appearance since leaving the company in 2016.
Appearing to refer to his numerous ventures during his time away from WWE, including his AEW run, Rhodes tweeted:
“Wrestling is a love story”
John Cena seemed to agree with Rhodes statement, sharing a screenshot of the tweet to his Instagram page, as you can see below:

John Cena typically uses Instagram to post seemingly random photos for his fans’ own interpretations.
The 16-time World Champion recently noted that he misses WWE everyday, commenting on the possibility of a full-time return.
Rhodes left his position as an AEW Executive Vice President in February. Current AEW EVPs Matt & Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks have reacted to Rhodes’ WWE return, which you can read more about right here.
