Current ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR may be set for a huge title vs title match for Forbidden Door, if Dax Harwood has his way.
IWGP Tag Team Champion Chase Owens took to Twitter today (June 5), stating that current IWGP Tag Team Champions, he and Bad Luck Fale, want to face the best tag teams in the world, before calling out Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
He said:
We want to face the best tag teams out there. Hey @DaxFTR @CashWheelerFTR What do you say?
Dax was quick to respond with a proposition of his own, simply stating:
Bring your IWGP belts. We’ll bring ours.
FTR were attacked by the former champions Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb of United Empire on AEW Dynamite two weeks ago, seemingly setting up a match between the two teams later down the line.
Cobb and O-Khan are set for their rematch with the champions at Forbidden Door, which Cobb was quick to point out to Dax, as he responded:
It better be before June 12, bc after our rematch, we’ll have them, and you gotta deal with us
It was officially announced last night that Hiroshi Tanahashi will face off with Hiroki Goto at Dominion, with the winner facing off against an AEW star at Forbidden Door to determine the interim AEW World Champion.
