‘Very Concerning’ Update On Bryan Danielson Injury

‘Very Concerning’ Update On Bryan Danielson Injury AEW

AEW star Bryan Danielson has now been out of action for over a month after suffering a concussion, and a new report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio will be very concerning for many.

Danielson, who was famously forced into an early retirement in 2016 before returning in 2018, has a history of head injuries, something Meltzer noted as a reason for being “very concerned” with Danielson’s current status.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave said:

“I’m very concerned with Danielson obviously, because when you have the number of concussions he’s had, and he’s been out now for five weeks. You start worrying at five weeks of a concussion – this may be a real bad situation. I know in real life and everything like that he’s fine, he can function, he can do everything, but as far as being cleared to wrestle, I don’t know anything, no-one knows – getting cleared from a concussion can be any time. There’s no timeframe. But the fact that it’s been this long is very concerning.”

While this is more of a speculation than an actual report, the fact is that Danielson does have a track record when it comes to head injuries, and the longer he’s out of action, the more worried people are going to be about his future in wrestling.

Everyone at WrestleTalk sends their best wishes to Bryan Danielson, and we hope to see him back in the ring as soon as he is fit and cleared to do so.
