A championship changed hands on AEW Dynamite tonight (July 27) during the Fight for the Fallen edition, supporting Oceana.
While the originally announced title match for the FTW Championship between Ricky Starks and Danhausen occurred on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Starks originally retained the title.
After the match however he hopped on the mic and as last week, said he still had some in the tank and opened up the FTW open challenge again.
Unfortunately for Starks, the challenge was answered by HOOK who not only answered but delivered!
After a short but fun and physical match, HOOK tapped out Starks to the Redrum to become the new FTW Champion!
After the match, a shocking turn of events saw Ricky Starks’ night go from bad to worse!
