Tony Khan has taken to Twitter and dropped intel about tonight’s AEW Dynamite House of the Dragon edition including an appearance by CM Punk.
It’s Wednesday and you know what that means! Tony Khan is taking to Twitter to drop some intel in advance of AEW Dynamite!
For tonight’s special edition of AEW Dynamite in a partnership with new HBO series House of the Dragon, Khan has announced a returning star will be on hand to address the crowd.
According to Tony Khan, not only is CM Punk back, he’ll take to the mic at the House of the Dragon themed edition of Dynamite.
Writing on Twitter, Khan said:
“TONIGHT on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite we’ll hear from the
@AEW World Champion @CMPunk LIVE on @TBSNetwork for the first time since his injury over 2 months ago!Dynamite is LIVE on TBS coming up tonight @ 8pm ET/7pm CT, and tonight’s show is presented by @HBO’s @HouseofDragon” (House of the Dragon)
CM Punk has been out of in-ring action in All Elite Wrestling since winning the AEW World Championship from Hangman Adam Page at AEW Double or Nothing in June.
Elsewhere scheduled for tonight’s House of the Dragon AEW Dynamite, AEW’s dragons do battle as the American Dragon Bryan Danielson takes on the self-proclaimed ‘Dragonslayer,’ Daniel Garcia.
