Former Universal Champion Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) is set to return to WWE, according to PWInsider.
The report noted that multiple WWE sources have confirmed that Strowman is scheduled to be at Monday’s WWE Raw taping in Kansas City on September 5.
It had recently been reported that Strowman was among names pitched or discussed for a return to the company, following Triple H taking over WWE creative after Vince McMahon’s retirement and departure.
Strowman was always presented as a dominant monster during his time on the main roster, holding the Universal, Intercontinental, and Raw Tag Team titles during his time with the company. He also won the 2018 Money in the Bank ladder match, 2019 Andre The Giant Battle Royal, and the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble match that took place at the 2018 Saudi Arabia event.
The ‘Monster Among Men’ was released from his WWE contract in June 2021. Following his departure, Strowman launched the ‘Control Your Narrative’ promotion with former WWE star EC3.
We will continue to provide updates on Strowman’s return as they become available.
