Despite being one of WWE’s most recognisable, it sounds like we won’t be seeing Ronda Rousey at Clash at the Castle tomorrow.
It had previously been reported that, even though she wasn’t set to be part of the SmackDown Women’s Championship match itself, Rousey was scheduled to be in Cardiff, presumably to get involved in the match in some fashion.
However, according to Dave Meltzer the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that’s no longer the case and Rousey wasn’t scheduled to travel to the UK as of midweek.
The SmackDown Women’s Championship of course sees Liv Morgan, who’s beaten Ronda Rousey twice, defend against Shayna Baszler, who is a fellow member of the MMA Four Horsewomen with Rousey, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.
We will of course keep you posted with any and all updates ahead of WWE’s return to the UK.
