An update to a shocking injury suffered over the weekend by an IMPACT Wrestling star after an international show.
According to a report by Laredo Morning Times after speaking to a promoter who stated he had been in close contact with the family, Laredo Kid is thankfully in stable condition.
Ishaan Idnani-Ramos, the owner and promoter of Lucha Maniaks told LMT:
“Right now, he was just operated on, and basically all we know now is that he is stable.
“However, what happened was a rupture in his intestines. As of right now, he is OK, but we don’t know how this will affect him as for his upcoming bookings. But right now he is OK.”
The injury occurred at AAA Triplemania over this past weekend, with the promotion issuing the statement:
“At the end of our event Campeonato Showcenter on October 23, 2022, Laredo Kid was attended to by medical personnel upon presenting severe abdominal pain. He was taken to a nearby hospital to be looked at and to find a diagnosis.
“After midnight on Monday, October 24, he underwent surgery with positive results.
“He is currently stable and under medical supervision.
“We will continue to provide updated information as we receive it from his doctors.”
Everyone at WrestleTalk wishes Laredo Kid a speedy and complete recovery!
