Report: AEW Star Suspended

While on AEW star has notably been off of television as of late, a new report notes that the star is actually suspended.

With Wrestling Observer noting a recent change in the star’s upcoming appearance schedule, a note regarding his status emerged.

In a note regarding a cancelled upcoming appearance by Andrade el Idolo, the star is referred to as “currently suspended from AEW”.

Andrade el Idolo was set to appear at an event in California however had to cancel due to needing to attend “to an issue,” that he would reveal later.

Event organizers posted an apology video from El Idolo himself who appeared to be in a medical facility at time of recording, wearing a hospital gown.

Andrade was scheduled to face Rey Fenix at the event however has been replaced instead by Dralistico.

It would not be atypical for no formal statement regarding a suspension by AEW as was the case when previously, Eddie Kingston engaged in a backstage squabble with Sammy Guevara.

Kingston was subsequently suspended and the details were revealed after a previously advertised match between the two was pulled.

Andrade el Idolo reportedly engaged in an altercation with Sammy Guevara backstage at AEW which led to him being removed from a previously advertised match.

Andrade has been absent from AEW television since; his absence has not been directly addressed on TV.
