WWE ambassador and 2020 Warrior Award recipient Titus O’Neil has discussed his aspirations for his acting career.
On the Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw podcast, O’Neil noted that he has a ‘couple of opportunities’ available to him, during his wrestling hiatus.
Pointing out that his friends are doing well in Hollywood, Titus said:
“My personal goal is to continue to be in films. I’m on my way.
“I have a couple of opportunities… hopefully Hollywood and doing some really cool stuff on television and working in that space.
“One of my best friends, Dave Bautista, obviously Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s doing well, John Cena’s doing well, so hopefully I get a chance to go out there and bust my ass, break out my acting chops and do well in that space too.”
Titus has been cast for several projects currently in their pre-production stages, including the dramatic comedy ‘Way Out of Bounds’ and the sports film ‘The Walk-On’s’ which are both currently slated for 2023 releases.
He notably made an appearance during the 2022 Oscars Nominations show, with a student from the Thaddeus M Bullard Academy announcing the nominations for Best Animated Feature.
The WWE ambassador last wrestled in November 2020, but previously stated that he hasn’t retired from wrestling.
Titus has been out of action due to a knee injury, which he underwent surgery for earlier this year.
