Mark Henry and other top AEW stars attended an Indianapolis youth outreach center.
In 2021, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry signed with All Elite Wrestling. One of his biggest contributions to the promotion has been helping to expand their community outreach program.
With AEW visiting Indianapolis for tonight’s Dynamite, Henry brought a few talent to continue to make an impact in the local community.
On Tuesday evening, former AEW World Tag Team Champion Swerve Strickland posted a photo on Twitter of himself alongside Henry, Ricky Starks and AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill at 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, Inc.
The caption on the post reads:
“Thank you 100 Black Men Indy for having us!”
100 Black Men of Indianapolis, Inc. was founded in 1984 and is described on its website as “a youth development organization that helps several hundred youths each year through mentoring-based educational programs.”
In 37 years, the organization has raised 2 million dollars in scholarships, and has partnered with several notable organizations, including PNC Bank, Walmart, Delta, FedEx, and Morgan Stanley.
While Mark Henry can be seen every Friday on AEW Rampage with his pre-main event interviews, the stars who were with him all are involved in different stories in the company right now.
Swerve Strickland will continue his story with former AEW World Tag Team Champion and partner Keith Lee. Ricky Starks is in his most high profile program of his time in All Elite Wrestling as he will face MJF for the AEW World Title on the December 14 Winter Is Coming edition of Dynamite.
Meanwhile, Jade Cargill will continue her reign as TBS Champion with a special celebration on tonight’s November 30 edition of Dynamite.
Also on the lineup for tonight’s show, Bryan Danielson will face FTR’s Dax Harwood for the first time ever and Death Triangle will face The Elite in Match 3 of their best of seven series.
