On the most recent edition of WWE Raw (December 19), Rhea Ripley faced Akira Tozawa in a rare intergender match up.
Now Alexa Bliss has opened up about her own recollections of an intergender match she once had against former WWE Champion Randy Orton at Fastlane 2021.
The match came as part of a feud between Orton and the Fiend, during the period where the Fiend had Bliss under his thrall and imbued her with a portion of his supernatural abilities.
Bliss spoke about the unusual match in an interview with BT Sport:
“Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have a match with Randy Orton. I have to say, this might be one of my favorite matches that I’ve ever done.
“This was cool, this was a fun, super fun match. I feel like this has to be one of my favorites. I will tell you, taking an RKO is not fun, but it’s pretty cool to say you’ve taken an RKO before.”
In recent weeks, WWE has teased a potential reunion between Bliss and Wyatt, as her behavior has changed drastically and Wyatt’s moth insignia has frequently appeared behind her at key dramatic moments.
