A former AEW talent’s contract has officially expired.
In July 2022, former NXT star AQA announced that she was stepping away from professional wrestling.
This followed her departure from WWE NXT and signing with All Elite Wrestling in early 2022.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on AQA, noting that she has officially been removed from the AEW roster page.
The report also notes that her deal is up with the company now.
AQA, which stands for her real name Angela Quentina Arnold, was trained by Booker T at his Reality of Wrestling school in Houston, Texas.
AQA signed with WWE in early 2021 alongside NXT standouts Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade. However, despite several appearances on the brand, she was never given a push on the same level as some of the other Performance Center recruits who arrived at the same time.
