Mercedes Moné is making her in-ring debut in NJPW right now (February 18) and has already made a very special entrance.
While making her in-ring debut for NJPW, Mercedes Moné took some time to pay tribute to a wrestling favorite who is gone far too soon.
Making her entrance after a performance by dancers, Mercedes Moné paid tribute to Hana Kimura with her ring gear.
Hana Kimura, the popular Stardom and DDT star passed away in 2020 at the age of 22 after reportedly battling with self-harm and online bullying.
Mercedes Moné is facing KAIRI for the IWGP Women’s Championship at Battle in the Valley, an event that sold out with only their match announced for the card.
Elsewhere at Battle in the Valley, there has already been a major development that could have future implications for a top star rumored to be heading to WWE.
