WWE has now shared a behind-the-scenes video from the Elimination Chamber, which includes Bianca Belair’s reaction to Montez Ford’s insane dive.
At the February 18 premium live event, Montez Ford competed in the Elimination Chamber bout for Austin Theory’s US Championship.
Ford had a great performance in the match, elimination Bronson Reed and Damian Priest, before ultimately becoming the fourth competitor eliminated.
During the bout, Ford climbed the structure, before executing an inventive dive to the wrestlers on the outside of the ring.
Belair watched this spot play out in the back… well, she watched most of it, before turning away from the screen.
You can watch the Raw Women’s Champion’s reaction to the spot in the video below (around 5:40 in).
The video also includes footage of Ford and Belair talking before the match (5:25), with the former Raw Tag Team Champion trying to assure his wife that he wasn’t going to do anything crazy.
Belair instantly stated that she didn’t believe Ford, and it seems she was right to trust her gut.
After making it to the final three, Seth Rollins and Austin Theory briefly teamed up to eliminate Ford, with Rollins dropping Ford with a stomp, and Theory pinning the popular star for the elimination.
Following a Montez Ford injury angle, Theory won the bout, pinning Rollins to retain his gold following interference from Logan Paul.
Bianca Belair recently explained why she doesn’t work with Ford on WWE TV, which you can read about right here.
