WWE has reportedly “gained more and more faith” in one WWE star, so much so they’re slated for double duty throughout WrestleMania season!
The report also references a planned singles match between Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio which seems to continue to build on WWE television, including tonight’s edition of SmackDown.
While Dominik was visiting SmackDown along with Rhea Ripley, he faced off against Santos Escobar who vowed to make Dom show some respect in their brawl.
However in the end, it was Dominik who actually came out on top and not only did he win the match, he made things personal afterwards.
Taking the mask that Rey Mysterio had gifted Santos Escobar and ripping it up, Dominik was then met by Rey Mysterio at the ramp.
However after taunting Rey to hit him, he ended up shoving down Rey and leaving standing tall with gal pal Rhea Ripley.
Elsewhere on tonight’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns came face to face for the first time and during their interaction he made a glowing reference to a past achievement with the Young Bucks.

WWE has gained more and more faith in Dominik Mysterio in recent months and plan on using him on both Raw and Smackdown leading to Wrestlemania, where the current plan is to face Rey Mysterio in a singles match.
