Tony Khan has now announced several new matches for tonight’s March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, the first show since Revolution.
In a match we’ve known about since Revolution on Sunday, Powerhouse Hobbs will challenge TNT Champion Wardlow, who won the title from Samoa Joe at Revolution.
Wardlow shared a video last night showing that his rental car was broken into and the TNT Championship belt was among the items stolen, but it seems like the match will still be going ahead.
Announced during last night’s episode of ‘Road To’ was Orange Cassidy defending the All-Atlantic Championship on Dynamite for the third straight week, this time against Jay Lethal, in what will be their third match in recent months with the record currently tied at 1-1.
After that, Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce what looks to be the bulk of the rest tonight’s lineup.
First up is a trios match with AR Fox and Top Flight against Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara, with Jericho coming off a loss to Ricky Starks at Revolution.
Ruby Soho, who turned heel and sided with Saraya and Toni Storm at Revolution, will be in action on Dynamite against Skye Blue.
Khan also announced that we’ll hear from ‘Hangman’ Adam Page tonight after he defeated Jon Moxley in their Texas Death Match on Sunday.
Speaking of Moxley, he’s back in action too, teaming with Claudio Castagnoli against John Silver and Alex Reynolds.
That’s all that’s been confirmed so far but we will of course let you know if anything more gets added.
Thank you all who watched #AEWRevolution, on ppv or live @ChaseCenter!
Revolution did great revenue, + it's widely considered one of the best shows AEW has ever done!
