AEW shockingly crowned a new TBS Champion at last weekend’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
The show saw the return of Kris Statlander following her injury, defeating Jade Cargill in an impromptu match to win the TBS Championship.
Statlander’s victory brought an end to Jade’s undefeated streak at 60-0.
Today, Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce Statlander’s first defence of her new title on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Statlander is set to defend against former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose.
Also set for the show is a mixed tag team match between Adam Cole & Britt Baker and Chris Jericho & Saraya, as well as the Blackpool Combat Club facing the Lucha Bros and Bandido.
