A top WWE star is set to return to action on the June 23 edition of WWE SmackDown.
On the June 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair made her return to interrupt Asuka’s WWE Women’s Championship presentation.
“The Queen” challenged Asuka for her newly christened title and will face her on the June 30 episode from the O2 Arena in London, England ahead of Money In The Bank.
However, this will now not mark Charlotte’s first match back in the squared circle.
To preview tonight’s SmackDown, Megan Morant announced that Charlotte Flair will have her first match since WrestleMania 39 on the June 23 show against Lacey Evans.
Also announced for the show, Grayson Waller will host another edition of “The Grayson Waller Effect” with special guests, Pretty Deadly ahead of their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships bout against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
As previously reported, there have been major changes to tonight’s SmackDown, including LA Knight now facing Rey Mysterio instead of competing in a triple threat match against Santos Escobar and Butch.
TONIGHT on #SmackDown: #TheBloodline Civil War BEGINS, The WWE Women's Tag Team Championships and #WWENXT Women's Tag Team Championships will be UNIFIED, @MsCharlotteWWE returns to action, @RealLAKnight goes one-on-one with @reymysterio and so much more… 👀🔥@MeganMorantWWE… pic.twitter.com/DcVt6jtgQg
