The 2023 IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary pay-per-view is set to take place in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
One of the show’s top matches will see Deonna Purrazzo defending her IMPACT Knockouts Championship against Trinity (FKA Naomi), and the stars are set to be out for that match.
Per PWInsider, Mercedes Mone (FKA Sasha Banks) is expected to be in attendance at the show tomorrow, with the belief among those they have spoken to being that she is coming in support of Trinity, and likely would not be appearing on camera.
Mone, as well as WWE star Tamina, was in attendance when Trinity made her debut for the promotion, as well as Trinity and Bayley traveling to Japan for Wrestling Kingdom 17, when Mercedes made her debut for NJPW.
Mercedes has been out of action with an ankle injury she suffered in her match with Willow Nightingale at the NJPW Resurgence show on May 21.
Following the announcement of Trinity vs Deonna, fans took to Twitter to get #KnockoutsMainEvent trending.
There has been an update on Mone’s injury as well as plans for her when she makes her return, which you can see here.
Trinity recently discussed her and Mone’s departure from WWE last year, which you can read here.
