A current NXT star and a former WWE star provided a surprising collaboration at a show for the Texas-based Reality of Wrestling promotion.
As captured on video by MuscleManMalcolm on Twitter (see below), NXT’s Trick Williams conducted a promo during the show alongside former WWE star Alicia Fox, who only recently departed the company in May this year.
During the promo, Williams took time to hype himself up, calling himself a combination of Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson, a sentiment that Fox at least seemed in agreement with.
Not only that but Williams took time to hype up the night’s festivities for the Summer of Champions (July 15) card from Texas’ Humble Civic Center.
While its usually uncommon for WWE talent to make appearances at independent shows, Reality of Wrestling is owned by two-time WWE Hall of Famer and current NXT commentator Booker T and have a working relationship with WWE.
In February this year fellow NXT talent Ivy Nile also appeared for the promotion, so expect more crossover with NXT talent in the future.
Fox’s appearance was her first since her WWE exit, despite not featuring at all for the company in nearly a year and a half prior to her exit, the 37-year-old has openly stated that she was happy with how her run in the company came to an end.
In other NXT news, one of the brand’s longest reigning champions of all-time has recently made headlines for listing one of her most recognisable ring attires for sale on Ebay, with the auction reaching an astounding price, click here to find out more.
