After his brutal and bloody, ‘match of the year candidate’ match (in his words at least) at AAA TripleMania, QT Marshall has thoughts.
While TripleMania may have seen a wild affair from start to finish, one of the highlights of the night came early in the show as QT Marshall took on Pentagon Jr. (aka Penta El Zero Miedo) in an Ambulance Match.
In characteristically bloody fashion, the match featured not just smacking one another with neon light bulbs but of course, a bag of thumbtacks amongst other weapons.
Writing on Twitter (rather than releasing an exclusive through QTV, interesting choice) Marshall wrote:
“The Tijuana Nightmare”
“Definitely a match of the year candidate.
“Thank God I was able to slip out of the package piledriver last second or I may not have ever walked again, never mind won the match.”
You don’t tell Picasso how to paint and you don’t tell QT Marshall how to score a win in Tijuana!
QT Marshall was victorious over Penta after being mere inches from victory, fellow dastardly QTV member Aaron Solo appeared, spraying him Marshall’s foe with a fire extinguisher.
After smashing another aforementioned light tube over Penta, Marshall to hit a big Cutter before trapping Pentagon Jr. in the ambulance.
Elsewhere on AAA TripleMania, El Hijo del Vikingo defeated Kenny Omega to retain his AAA Mega Championship.
Also of note at the event, a wild occurrence with another AEW star in attendance when he was legitimately attacked by a member of the crowd. Find out more about that by clicking here.
