Samoa Joe may have recently lost to CM Punk in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament but that doesn’t mean he’s earned his respect.
While CM Punk may have bested Samoa Joe in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament to advance to the final, there was a bit of a dubious ending.
While CM Punk may have beat Joe and then the pair shook hands in an apparent show of respect, Samoa Joe then pounced on Punk, choking him out!
In an interview with Ella Jay for SEScoops, Samoa Joe said
“Respect? I mean, I don’t know what there is to respect there, but okay, cool. I mean, as far as, what, how he beat me? I mean, let’s call it a victory. Cool.
“I mean, I remember when I beat him, he was passed out on the ground, so I don’t know, we must have different ideas of what conquering somebody means. But yeah, it’s cool. You know, as far as our dynamic, it’s not good and it won’t be good until we get that win straightened out.”
Speaking of Joe’s thoughts on Punk, turns out he feels that the chemistry between the pair comes down to one very simple dynamic that fans love to see.
