WWE have published a new playlist on YouTube focusing on Jey Uso and teasing it as the “Rise of the Next Tribal Chief.”
The playlist was released on July 21 and features two hours of matches and backstage segments spanning the past three years.
Starting with Jey Uso’s return in September 2020, fans can relive the relationship that he had with Roman Reigns that would eventually lead to him breaking from the Bloodline in 2023.
As stated on the WWE YouTube channel:
“Watch Jey Uso’s Bloodline story, starting with his 2020 return through his and Jimmy Uso’s tag team victory over Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at WWE Money in the Bank 2023.”
As was noted by one fan:
“The fact they made a 2 hour video of main event Jey Uso shows that he has come a long way since tagging along with his brother and how over he is with the fans.
“The MVP of the Bloodline story as his acting and the importance of his role deserves more credit and recognition.”
The recent episode of WWE SmackDown may not have featured Roman Reigns, but the Jey Uso live promo and angle with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa were the two most viewed quarter-hours for last Friday’s SmackDown.
Jey Uso became the first man to pin Roman Reigns since December 2019 and footage of Michael Cole’s reaction on commentary was released to commemorate the moment.
The dominance of The Bloodline has been well received by fans, critics and internally at WWE, with Judgment Day being seen as a successor to the long-running story.
