WWE SummerSlam 2023 is set to take place tonight (August 5), with eight matches announced for the show.
The show has been under fire from fans due to the controversial decision to pull the planned Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus match from the show.
The match was originally planned for the show, but was reportedly pulled due to time constraints, instead being moved to an episode of Raw in Winnipeg in two weeks.
It was reported yesterday that Becky was in Detroit for the show, which ended up not being the case, with her debunking the report shortly after it came out.
Today, Becky took to Twitter on the day of the show, taking a major shot at being left off the event after the feud between her and Stratus had been brewing for months.
She shared a photo of herself with some lemons and the caption:
Making lemonade with all these lemons I’ve been given.
What’s everyone else up to this weekend?!
Becky and Trish are not the only women missing from SummerSlam, with Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley also not having a match scheduled for the show.
Rhea has also taken some public shots about missing the show, as you can see here.
