A top WWE star has addressed online criticism towards their booking.
Since defeating Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley has reigned as the top women in all of the company.
Despite holding this status, Ripley’s in-ring wrestling appearances have been limited with “Mami” only having nine televised matches since becoming WWE Women’s World Champion.
Following her win over Candice LeRae in dominating fashion, some fans online suggested that Ripley has been booked “too dominant,” which has become a detriment to the overall women’s division.
Addressing the online discourse, Rhea Ripley took to social media on August 22 to respond. She wrote:
This is what DOMINANCE looks like.
This is MY show! Welcome to Monday night MAMI!
Stay mad you incompetent marks.
Ripley will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez at WWE Payback on Saturday, September 2. For the full lineup for the show, click here.
