Duke Hudson of NXT’s Chase U wants to be on the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event when it hits Australia in 2024.
The show, which takes place in Perth on February 24, was officially announced by WWE earlier today.
Rhea Ripley reacted to the announcement by saying:
“I’m beyond proud to represent Australia every single time I step inside a WWE ring and to bring a Premium Live Event to Perth is a dream come true.
“Get ready Australia, because Mami is coming home.”
Duke Hudson, himself an Australian born WWE star (billed from Adelaide), is hoping for a spot on the show, tweeting a Simpsons themed GIF that can be seen below.
Hudson signed with WWE in February 2019 and would wrestle under his real name of Brendan Vink.
In July 2021, he would be reintroduced as Duke Hudson going on to join Chase U as their flag bearer in November 2022.
