The identity of the child in the MJF parody vignette on the September 20 AEW Dynamite Grand Slam has been revealed.
The vignette, which can be seen below, was a parody of one done by the then-WWF featuring Bret Hart in the 90s.
That iconic video was, in itself, a parody of a Coca-Cola advert that featured the NFL’s “Mean” Joe Green.
With a small boy saying “Go get him, Champ” as MJF went off to face Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship, the identity of the child has been revealed.
According to PW Insider, the boy is Craig Steele’s son, Austin, with the father in the video bearing a striking resemblance Steele himself.
Steele is a wrestler for WrestlePro who goes by the name The BIG Deal Craig Steele according to his Facebook profile.
In March 2022, Steele defeated Dirty Dango to become the SWF Champion.
