As AEW Fight Forever approaches four months on store shelves, a new report has revealed what fans can perhaps expect from the game going forward.
AEW’s debut game was met with a mixed critical reception.
Concerns have been raised over future support for the game from fans with the game only receiving one new game mode, Stadium Stampede, and a handful of roster additions courtesy of paid-DLC (downloadable content) since its launch.
Following up on these concerns, Fightful Select reached out in an attempt to gather information on any future plans for the game within AEW.
Despite there being a “heavy internal push” to promote the game, particularly at talent meetings, Fight Forever reportedly has not been a “topic of discussion” backstage in the company lately.
Fightful then added that they had also been told in recent weeks that scans for new AEW talent had been done recently, in an attempt to get them added to the game.
While it’s unclear who exactly this could pertain to, there are many top talent on the roster not currently included such as Swerve Strickland, Christian Cage and of course the recently signed Adam Copeland.
