MJF may not have got his AEW World Championship belt back, but he’s won the respect of The Acclaimed after the November 1, 2023 Dynamite.
On the November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF teamed up with three partners that were revealed to be The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn to take on Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson & The Gunns).
The match would see Bullet Club Gold victorious, Jay White still in possession of the AEW World Title which was stolen on the October 4 anniversary show and, more importantly, scoring the pin over MJF.
Clearly, this all didn’t sit well with MJF post-match, but he did bring himself to celebrate, after a bit of a dressing down from Billy Gunn, in true Acclaimed style.
After the match, as can be seen from the footage below, MJF succumbed to the moment and got involved in a scissor party.
Anthony Bowens celebrated the significance of this moment on social media, tweeting:
“Hi @The_MJF, thanks for scissoring my friend ❤️✂️ #AEWDynamite.”
Highlights from the match can be seen below this news story.
