With NXT Deadline set to take place on December 9, it also marks the return of the Iron Survivor Challenge match that made it’s debut at last year’s inaugural edition of the event.
WWE announced on this week’s Halloween Havoc night two show that the qualifiers for the matches will start on next week’s NXT show, with WWE Hall of Famers set to announce the matches.
The first Hall of Famer to set up qualifying matches was none other than Mick Foley, who made two big matches for next week’s episode of the show.
On the women’s side, Foley chose Tiffany Stratton and Fallon Henley, with the two set for their match after it never took place at Halloween Havoc as originally scheduled.
On the men’s side, Foley decided that Dijak will go one on one with Tyler Bate.
The first-ever Iron Survivor matches took place at last year’s Deadline event, with Grayson Waller and Roxanne Perez emerging as the winners.
Next week’s NXT show will also see Bron Breakker take on Von Wagner in the pair’s grudge match, as well as the return of NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.
