Yesterday, the question on the future of WWE NXT in 2024 was answered, when it was officially announced that the show would be moving to the CW Network in October 2024.
The deal with the CW is said to be a 70% increase for the show over it’s current deal on the USA Network.
Taking to Twitter today, NXT head booker Shawn Michaels reacted to the show’s new deal, and the progress he and Triple H have made with the show.
He said:
I am absolutely thrilled for @WWENXT to debut on @TheCW in October 2024. This is huge for our young superstars and I’m very proud to continue the success that @TripleH laid the ground work for. #WeAreNXT
Shawn also linked to a clip of him discussing the new home for the show on News Nation, which you can see here.
Following the deal, many wondered if the show would be changing days, with the latest on that possibility being available here.
