The new broadcasting home for WWE NXT in 2024 was officially announced earlier this week.
It was announced that NXT would be airing on the CW Network, returning to broadcast television after being on cable on the USA Network.
The show also received a 70% increase on it’s rights deal, the highest in the history of the NXT show.
With NXT moving to the CW and the show currently rising in viewership, there has been speculation about NXT going on the road and leaving the Performance Center in 2024.
In an update from Haus of Wrestling in regards to NXT hitting the road, it is said to not sound like there is a plan for it to start imminently.
There is said to be major interest across the company to make NXT feel ‘bigger’, but don’t wish to do so at the expense of overexposing the brand.
The current run that NXT is on have been well received and are growing the show’s audience, but WWE is holding off on taking the show on the road until demand is strong enough for it to happen.
It was also reported that some in WWE are of the belief NXT will consistently outdraw AEW Dynamite in 2024.
