SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis has addressed Kevin Owens’ “suspension” following Owens’ actions on this week’s show.
Kevin Owens served as a commentator during the November 10 edition of SmackDown. Prior to his appearance, it was stated that if Owens was to get physical with any of the WWE stars competing on the show, he’d be suspended (in storyline, of course).
Owens almost made it through the show without incident, before Grayson Waller and Austin Theory antagonised him, pouring water over Owens’ head.
Owens left the commentary table to brawl with the duo, leading Nick Aldis to suspend Kevin Owens in a backstage segment.
Aldis has now taken to Twitter to comment on Owens’ actions. Sharing a message for the now-“suspended” star, Aldis wrote:
This is NOT what I had in mind @FightOwensFight #SmackDown
Aldis also shared a photo of himself in the locker room holding Owens’ commentary tie, which you can see below.
He also shared this photo on Instagram with the caption:
There was ONE rule. #SmackDown
Owens’ immediate reaction to his suspension was shared in a backstage video, which you can watch at this link.
