Triple H has reacted to the news that WWE Backlash will be coming to France on May 4, 2024, in Lyon-Decines.
Following the success of WWE Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico which saw it become the “highest-grossing and most-viewed Backlash in company history”, WWE are no doubt hoping to repeat that success in France.
The host for the 2024 edition of WWE Backlash was announced earlier today, marking the first time a WWE PLE will take place in the country.
This is the latest international engagement for WWE which has already seen Elimination Chamber being announced for Australia and Bash in Berlin taking place in Germany.
Triple H has reacted to the announcement on Twitter, posting:
“Another historic first for @WWE in 2024 with #WWEBacklash France… LIVE from @LDLC_Arena in Lyon-Decines on May 4. @WWEFrance”
The LDLC Arena is a new arena, opening in November 2023 with a capacity of 16,000.
It’s already building up quite a calendar of concerts, with Green Day, Eric Clapton and the Jonas Brothers among those scheduled to perform in 2024.
